Man charged with indecent exposure for the second time in two months

An area man has been charged with indecent exposure for the second time this summer after he allegedly flashed a teenage girl on the grounds of Burlington’s Springwood Park.

According to court records, Miguel Angel Muniz was taken into custody on Sunday after he allegedly exposed his private parts to the 15-year-old victim within the park’s parking lot.

The 48-year-old male, who hails from 2311 Hoskins Road in Burlington, faces felony-level charges for indecent exposure as well as taking indecent liberties with a minor. He also faces a misdemeanor offense for the alleged possession of an open container of Bud Ice on the park’s premises.

Court records indicate that these charges come barely three months after Muniz exposed himself to a woman at a gas pump on June 21. That incident led to misdemeanor charges for indecent exposure, impaired driving, and the possession of an open container of alcohol.
