Man faces felony charges after alleged vehicle break-in

A 20-year-old man wound up behind bars this weekend after he alleged broke into a car along the 1900 block of Sinclair Trace in Burlington.

According to Burlington’s police department, Delacy Jaque Miles was charged with a felony-level charge for this vehicular break-in, which occurred at about 4:00 a.m. on Saturday. He was also charged with a second felony after a stolen handgun was discovered in his possession.

A 20-year-old black male of 3551 Forestdale Drive in Burlington, Miles also faces two misdemeanors for possession of an illegally-concealed handgun and possession of a Schedule VI controlled substance. He has been placed under a $30,000 secured bond.
