Williams graduate Ryan Motondo, a junior sport management major at North Carolina State, was named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference academic team for men’s track and field.
During the spring season for N.C. State, Motondo set a personal best in the 1,500 meters with a time of 3 minutes, 47.90 seconds in a meet a Duke and had his best time in the 800 at 1:52.26 in a competition at Liberty.
As a Williams junior, Motondo was the state champion in Class 3-A cross country and in the 3,200 meters in track and field. He also won the Class 3-A title in the 800 meters in track and field as a senior.
