Senior resident superior court judge Tom Lambeth notified the public Tuesday and Wednesday of additional Covid cases identified among personnel working in the county’s court system.
The announcements were the fourth and fifth court-related Covid case since July 21. As a result of earlier cases, Lambeth had already announced a decision to reestablish the Covid-19 health screenings for entrance into the county’s three court buildings.
That screening process was set up Monday before the latest announcements of Covid cases.
They take place at the Historic Court House in Court Square, as well as the Civil Courts Building and the Judge J.B. Allen, Jr. Court House, both along West Elm Street.
