Sheriff’s office seeks public’s help regarding Sunday shooting in Graham

Alamance County’s sheriff’s office is seeking the public’s assistance for information regarding a Sunday afternoon shooting along Townbranch Road in Graham.

The sheriff’s office responded to the call from two people, who were running along a nature trail in the area of the 1300 block of Townbranch Road, when they came upon a man who had been shot.

He was found just off the nature trail in a wooded area near the Alamance Christian School baseball field.

The victim was subsequently treated at the scene and transported to a hospital where he remains in serious condition.

During the investigation, the sheriff’s office determined there was no threat to the public or property, but detectives are seeking assistance from anyone who may have seen or heard anything relevant to the shooting.
