It was win for the home team in more ways than one when the town of Elon recently named Justin (left) and Eddie (right) Duszlak as its “downtown champions” for 2024.
Elon’s mayor Emily Sharpe (center) formally presented the pair with this honor last Tuesday for their 18-month renovation of an old commercial building at 104 North Williamson Avenue that dates back to 1891.
Since the Duszlaks completed this project last summer, the building has found a new life for itself as Elon’s municipal annex.
