Police in Burlington have arrested a man from Graham for the armed robbery of an area pizza parlor that was held up at knifepoint last Wednesday evening.
According to the city’s police department, 45-year-old Thomas Durham was arrested in Burlington on Thursday evening – less than 24 hours after he allegedly robbed a Domino’s Pizza at 1837 South Church Street.

The police department attributes Durham’s speedy arrest to the numerous tips that came in through the Crime Stoppers hotline in the hours after the robbery. The agency now hopes that tips from the community can also help it track down a getaway driver who reportedly shuttled the suspect away from the scene in a white Honda Civic with a temporary, 30-day license plate.
Police urge anyone with information pertinent to this case to contact the department at 336-229-3500 or call Crime Stoppers at 336-229-7100 to leave an anonymous tip.
