The BB&T and SunTrust Bank branches in Graham will be combined into a single location at 236 South Main Street, the current home of SunTrust, starting November 9.
The Graham location will be one of the first “blended branches” for Truist, the successor to BB&T and SunTrust, which merged last year.
The BB&T branch at 220 South Main Street, Graham –next door to SunTrust, its former competitor – will close on December 8, but there will be no job losses or disruption in service, a Truist spokesperson confirmed Wednesday for The Alamance News. Affected customers of both banks have been notified of the change by U.S. Mail and email.
