A woman from Graham has been arrested for allegedly supplying heroin to an individual who suffered a non-fatal overdose in the small hours of the morning on Tuesday.
Isabelle Ann Lucas was ultimately taken into custody after she reportedly admitted that she had provided the illicit drugs, which triggered another individual’s adverse reaction at a home along the 2300 block of U.S. 70 in Mebane.
According to the office of Alamance County’s sheriff, a member of Haw River’s municipal police force administered a dose of NARCAN to revive the unconscious victim before paramedics arrived on the scene.

Meanwhile, sheriff’s deputies determined that Lucas, who was visiting the victim’s home, had plied the victim with heroin. Lucas also reportedly claimed ownership of some plastic baggies containing a powdery white substance that deputies noticed in plain view during the course of their inquiry.
A 24-year-old black female of 302 North Maple Street in Graham, Lucas has been charged with a single felony count for possession of a Schedule I controlled substance. She has been placed under a $10,000 bond since her arrest.
