Sealed bids for the referenced project will be received by the City of Graham in the City Hall Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 201 S Main St, Graham, NC 27253, (336) 570-6700until 2 P.M., Wednesday, March 26, 2025 and then publicly opened and read aloud.
The work will include the following items:
approximately 500 LF of 12″ DIP water main and 1850 LF of 8″ DIP water main installation with required fittings and appurtenances.
All bids must be in accordance with the Bidding Documents on file with the City of Graham and at the office of Alley, Williams, Carmen & King, Inc., Post Office Box 1179 / 740 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC27216-1179.

Consideration will be given only to bids of Contractors who submit evidence that they are licensed under “An Act to Regulate the Practice of General Contracting”, ratified by the General Assembly of the State of North Carolina on March 10, 1925, and as subsequently amended, when such Act is applicable.
Each Proposal shall be accompanied with a deposit of cash or CERTIFIED CHECK on some bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the Proposal, said check to be made payable to the City of Graham.
In lieu of the above cash or CERTIFIED CHECK, the bidder may execute a Bid Bond for the same amount.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise provisions are included in the contract. The contractor should study and become familiar with these items.
An optional Pre-Bid meeting will be held at the Graham City Hall, 201 S Main St, Graham, NC 27253 on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM. All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, by order of the City Council, City of Graham, North Carolina.

PUBLIC NOTICE
Pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. §143-128.1, Alamance County is seeking proposals from qualified construction firms interested in providing construction services for the Alamance County “Courthouse Expansion Project.” The proposed Courthouse Expansion Project is located at 212 W. Elm Street, Graham NC. The intent of this RFQ is to select a construction manager by Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS), to provide construction services for this project.
The intent of this project is to construct a (3) story addition of approximately 38,000 square feet and a renovation of the existing J.B. Allen Building of approximately 35,000 square feet.
A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held on Wednesday March 19th at 10:00am.The conference will be held in the Commissioner’s Room, on the 2nd floor of the Alamance County Office Building located at 124 W. Elm Street, Graham NC.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
TO REZONE PROPERTY
The Burlington City Council will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday, March 18, 2025,at 7:00 PM to consider a request to rezone property from Medium Density Residential (MDR) to General Business – Limited Use (GB-LU). The assembly of properties is located on the south side of Garden Road, with frontage on Westview Terrace.
