Eastern Alamance senior Abby Brinker eclipsed the 100-goal mark for her career in last Thursday night’s 5-0 victory against visiting Northwood.
Brinker scored three goals to continue a strong start to the season for the Elon signee.

Brinker entered the Northwood game with 99 goals after racking up 10 goals across the first four games of this season.
She ranks second in goals scored in Eastern Alamance history behind former teammate Molly Widderich, a 2023 graduate now at William & Mary who compiled 112 goals with the Eagles.
Eastern improved to 5-0 by winning the non-conference game vs. Northwood. Addison Hughes and Lilly Massey also scored for the Eagles, who notched their fourth consecutive shutout.
Next Wednesday, Eastern visits Western Alamance for a Central 3-A Conference showdown.
- Western improved to 6-0 by defeating visiting Southern Alamance 9-0 on Monday night with two goals apiece from Kayley Lee, Callie Athas, and Kennedy Vaughn. Alison Thomas had a goal and four assists.
- Williams stopped a three-game losing streak by plastering visiting Roxboro Person 9-0 on Monday. Addison Durst scored three goals and Emerson Tirgrath and Holden Hall both scored two. McKinley Metts notched a goal and three assists.
- Southeast Alamance and host Southern Alamance tied 3-3 on Tuesday in a non-league game.
