An Orange County man faces numerous criminal charges for allegedly kidnapping and raping his then-girlfriend after bursting into her home in Alamance County.
Robbie Lee Green was taken into custody two weeks ago after the victim contacted the authorities during the small hours that morning.

According to the office of Alamance County’s sheriff, deputies arrived at the caller’s home at 1:34 a.m. to find her covered in cuts and bruises that suggested a recent attack.
The woman went on to tell the deputies that Green, whom she’d been seeing for the past month, broke into her home earlier that evening and sexually assaulted her. The 53-year-old white male then forced her to drive to his home at knifepoint where he raped her again before accompanying her back to her own dwelling, from where he departed.
Based on the victim’s testimony as well as other evidence, the sheriff’s office has charged Green with nine separate offenses, which include two counts of first-degree rape, two counts of first-degree forced sex offense, and first-degree kidnapping. Green, whose home address is listed in court records as 125 Court Street in Hillsborough, is also accused of felony-level assault with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor assault on a female, and the misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, as well as a felony-level probation violation.
Green has been held without bond since his arrest.
