Complaints from public lead to drug arrest in Snow Camp

A woman from Snow Camp recently found herself behind bars after tips from the community implicated her in the sale of illegal narcotics.

Amber Nicole Jones was ultimately taken into custody last Tuesday after sheriff’s deputies raided her residence at 5824 Chestnut Lane, Snow Camp, based an investigation that began with complaints from the general public.

According to the office of Alamance County’s sheriff, the 40-year-old white female has been charged with the felony possession of heroin, methamphetamine, and marijuana with the intent to sell or distribute each drug as well as the misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Jones has been placed under a bond of $211,000 since her arrest.
