Lighting of the Green in Gibsonville brings out residents

Categories:

The kick-off of the Christmas season in Gibsonville is the traditional Lighting of the Green, held the Friday night before Thanksgiving.

The 100 and 200 blocks of West Main Street are closed to traffic to allow residents to roam up and down the streets, many visiting merchants who stayed open after traditional hours.

Entertainment on the green was provided by the band Too Phat Jazz Band. Hear some of their music below pictures.
