Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Graham, NC will hold a public hearing in the Council Chambers at Graham City Hall, 201 S Main Street, Graham NC 27253 on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 6:00 pm. Meeting details may be found at https://www.cityofgraham.com/agendas-minutes/ . The Council will consider the following proposed text amendments to the zoning ordinance and rezoning applications:
• Request by Maple View, Inc. to rezone 5.11 acres at 1205 E. Harden Street (GPIN: 8883990211) from R-18 (Low-Density Residential) to I-1 (Light Industrial) (RZ2107).
• Amendment to Section 10.135-10.149 to re-classify existing permitted uses and make uniform changes to the code impacted by the reclassifications (AM2103).
• Various amendments to the Development Ordinance to comply with SB300 redefining how and when criminal and civil penalties apply (AM2104).
A copy of the proposed Development Ordinance revision is available at the City of Graham Planning Department located at 201 S Main Street, Graham NC for review by any interested parties.
