Three men from Alamance County schools will be involved in coaching roles in North Carolina East-West All-Star Games for the upcoming school year.
Jeremy Krist of the Williams boys’ soccer team will be the coach of the West team next July.
In football, Southeast Alamance’s Tony Aguilar and Williams’ Patrick Stokes will be assistant coaches for the West team.
Aguilar and Stokes, who are former colleagues as assistant coaches at Eastern Ala-mance, will be among the coaches on the staff led by Triton Erwin’s Rodney Pruett. The East coach will be Wilmington Hoggard’s Craig Under-wood.
The football game will be contested in December at Greensboro Grimsley.
The girls’ and boys’ soccer games will be held July 21 at Truist Point in High Point a night after the basketball games in Greensboro.
In boys’ soccer, the East’s head coach will be Croatan’s Paul Slater. For girls’ soccer, the head coaches are Wilson Fike’s Christopher Mizelle (East team) and Hickory’s Brian Jillings (West team).
The boys’ basketball head coaches will be West Bladen’s Travis Pait (East team) and Hendersonville’s Marving Featherstone (West team).
For girls’ basketball, the head coaches will be Goldsboro’s Khadijah Bryant (East team) and Cramer’s Carey Pohlman (West team).
