It hasn’t been long since a few months ago when the former drug store building at 2127 Chapel Hill Road in Burlington was demolished.
Now its replacement, a new 7-Eleven convenience store with gas pumps, has begun.
The new building will have 4,743 square feet and a drive-thru window, according to plans submitted to the city’s planning department in June.
Meanwhile, construction continues just down the street (literally only about a half-mile away, just south of the interstate highway) at 2571 Maple Avenue on another new 7-Eleven. (See photo below, construction as of a few weeks ago.)
