Randy L. Faircloth passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at his home in Burlington, NC. A native of Burlington, Randy was born on June 20, 1957. He graduated from Southern Alamance High School and attended Elon College. He was a General Contractor and was proud of the business he built from the ground up. Randy was married to his soulmate and best friend Christina Quad Faircloth, for 41 years.
Randy’s was a life well lived, and he was a man of grace and integrity. He considered his family his greatest love and achievement. He was at every family reunion, and was involved in all of his children’s activities including dance recitals, chorus concerts, tennis matches and games. An avid wanderer, he shared his love of travel with his children and showed them the natural wonders and beauty of our country and the world by taking them on adventures to 48 states and over a dozen countries.
An accomplished carpenter, Randy also had a passion for antiques and lovingly restored dozens of pieces of furniture, bringing them back to their original beauty. He was a natural teacher who loved sharing his knowledge with young people, instilling confidence and integrity into the players on the various teams he coached.
Randy Faircloth was a man of quiet dignity and decency, and he loved building both beautiful homes and relationships. He was honored and humbled by the people who trusted him to build their homes, and the families he built for became friends and part of his family.
He is survived by his wife Chris; daughter Sarah Faircloth Wilkinson, son-in-law Curry, and granddaughter Lydia Anne; son Jacob Charles, daughter-in-law Sara, and grandson August Rand; father Charles Lester; brother, David, and sister-in-law, Debbie and many beloved nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, in-laws and cousins. He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Anne, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
There will be a visitation from 1:30 pm – 3:45 pm and a celebration of life from 4:00 pm – 5:00 pm for Randy on Sunday, September 20, at Lowe Funeral Home. There will be a private burial at Magnolia Cemetery at a later date.
