Riya Anumakonda, a freshman at The Burlington School, was accepted as a Finalist for the 2025 Honors Performance Series, a prestigious, audition-based program that allows talented musicians nationwide to perform on world-renowned stages, including Ambassador Auditorium and the Sydney Opera House. She is the daughter of Dr. Radhika Kalisetti and Ravi Anumakonda.
Riya is in the choir and rock ensemble at the School and is an accomplished pianist and accompanist, playing piano for both the rock ensemble and the choir.
If Riya chooses to attend the week-long program, she will be joining some of the nation’s most talented teen singers in New York for a week of activities, including vocal rehearsals, visiting Times Square, and even watching a Broadway Show. The week will culminate in a choral performance at Carnegie Hall.
